Virtual Assistants

We have explored worker attitudes, ethics, English skills and other factors that are crucial to U.S. employers among different countries around the globe -- and we believe the Philippines is clearly the best country for our virtual assistant operations.  Quite simply, we are amazed with the talent and dedication we see in the Philippines.

There are several reasons why we believe the Philippines is the best place to hire talented & experienced virtual assistants:

1) Education System - The Philippines boasts a 97.5% literacy rate, one of the highest in the world.  The Philippines produces over 500,000 college graduates each year.  Over 50% of the total graduates have degrees in business administration, marketing / communications and other courses that are ideal US companies.

2) English is an Official Language - For several generations, English has been an official language in the Philippines.  Most schools are taught in English (rather than treating English as a subject in school) -- and there are currently over 50 million fluent English speakers in the Philippines.

3) Tech Savvy - Technology is prevalent throughout Filipino culture.  When recruiting, we look for the most tech savvy workers available.  We look for individuals who are well versed in the latest web-based tools.  We also look for proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

why the Philippines?

4) Infrastructure - High-speed internet access is readily available in all mid to large sized cities throughout the Philippines.

5) Dedicated Workers - Filipinos are extremely dedicated to their employers.  Employee turnover is very low compared to other countries.  And we are yet to encounter a worker in the Philippines that is not extremely grateful for their job.

6) Strong Work Ethics - All Filipino workers we have worked with have proven to be extremely hard working.  This likely goes back to their appreciation for their jobs.

7) Competitive Labor Rates - The Cost of Living in the Philippines is significantly lower than the United States.  Therefore, American workers typically require between 3x and 5x the wages of their Filipino counterparts.  This is not a reflection on the quality of work performed in the Philippines.  It is simply due to the Cost of Living differences between the two countries.

"The rise of what is known as business-

process outsourcing (BPO) in the Philippines

has been nothing short of phenomenal."
